World In Sign, LLC Partners with Solano Community College

World In Sign, LLC is partnering with Solano Community College to assist students who are in the American Sign Language Program. Students will observe a work environment by shadowing WIS interpreters in meetings and interactions. Students will receive a college credit based on hours obtained, practice, and knowledge.  

Solano Community College is located in Fairfield, California with a student population of 11,000. They offer academics in criminal justice, welding, medical, and more. Their American Sign Language Program offers courses to those wanting to transfer to a four-year university to become an interpreter. 

WIS believes that this partnership is an excellent opportunity for students to gain perspective in a unique setting. We are looking forward to supporting each student as they grow into their full potential.
